Our Story



Surfing Turtle Coffee Company, a division of TTP Lux Brands, is situated in the Tampa Bay region. Our company specializes in ethically sourced coffee beans from various parts of the globe. Owned by the Raber family, which includes Bruce, Sue, and their adult children, TTP Lux Brands has a passion that began during their initial visit to Maui and the Kona coast in Hawaii. Their enthusiasm for coffee and sea turtles flourished as they strolled daily along Indian Rocks Beach in Florida. Sue would eagerly walk the beach every day, anticipating the arrival of loggerhead turtles as they emerged to nest and lay hundreds of eggs. Each day, volunteers would come by to monitor the nests and offer protection. This deep-seated love for both sea turtles and coffee inspired the creation of Surfing Turtle. A portion of the proceeds from each bag sold is dedicated to sea turtle rescue and education efforts.

Who claims that coffee isn't beneficial to health? We take pride in providing green coffee as well. These are the unroasted beans derived from the Coffea fruits (Coffea arabica, Coffea canephora). They have a higher content of chlorogenic acid compared to roasted coffee. This chlorogenic acid present in green coffee is believed to offer health advantages, potentially influencing blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
